The ICCA Consortium is enormously pleased to launch its new website (www.iccaconsortium.org)! As you will see, the design is completely refreshed, the content updated and even richer, and the architecture much easier to navigate… The new Consortium website has two sections: a green one dedicated to “ICCAs as a phenomenon” and an orange one dedicated to the “Consortium as an organization”.
On the green side you will find a huge set of information: articles, reports, videos, a guide to international policy vis-à-vis ICCAs – from governance issues to food sovereignty to specific CBD decisions – and a variety of practical steps for ICCAs self-strengthening and mutual strengthening. On the orange side you will find about the ICCA Consortium: what it is, how it functions, its origins, governance, events and main initiatives, efforts and challenges. The regional sections guide visitors through the unique issues, Members, events, people, resources and work that are active in specific regions.
We are most hopeful that the new web site will enhance our collective understanding of ICCAs and inspire many to act together for ICCAs to be properly recognised and supported.
