Region-specific analyses and preliminary synthesis
In 2007, in collaboration with the IUCN, SwedBio, the UNDP GEF Small Grants Programme and GIZ, a group of organisations that would later form the ICCA Consortium, produced ICCA reviews in several world regions. A preliminary synthesis of such regional reviews was produced for discussion at the 2008 World Conservation Congress in Barcelona – the congress that saw the birth of the ICCA Consortium.
