Welcoming our new Regional Coordinator for Southern Africa!

The ICCA Consortium is pleased to announce that Job Morris has joined the Secretariat as Regional Coordinator for Southern Africa. Emmanuel Sulle will retain responsibility for East Africa. We are very excited that Job has joined our Africa team and is keen to take on his new responsibilities. Job is based in Botswana and works with the ICCA Consortium Member, the San Youth Network.

Please join us in welcoming Job!

Job Morris is based in Botswana. He has years of experience in development practice. He holds a Bachelor of Education and several other human rights qualifications that have prepared him to be a good representative for his people, the San of Botswana, and particularly the youth. His main areas of interest are Indigenous peoples, human rights, and leadership patterns that shape their everyday lives. Job was born in Botswana. He is inspired by the struggle of his people as a minority in the country. While his childhood has a major effect on his work, he has experience of working regionally and internationally with organizations and individuals who pursue the same agenda of development. Job is a strong advocate of social justice, Indigenous peoples’ movements, San youth, education, and general issues that concern the San.
