Protected and Conserved Areas' Governance Assessment
The ICCA Consortium collaborates with the IUCN Global Programme on Protected Areas (GPAP) for the completion of six national governance assessments for protected areas and “other effective area-based conservations measures” (OECMs)
Current initiative are ongoing in Iran,Indonesia, Tanzania, Peru and Ecuador.
During a workshop organised by the IUCN and the Working Group on ICCA Indonesia (WGII–ICCA Consortium Member), it became obvious that the quality and vitality of the governance of the Kayan Mentarang National Park must be improved. Read more ▸
