National networks and focal points
Our national networks and working groups within the ICCA Consortium serve as dynamic platforms for collaborative action at the grassroots level. Comprising diverse rightsholders and stakeholders, they facilitate coordination, knowledge exchange, and collective decision-making to advance local, national and regional efforts. Through these networks and groups, we harness collective wisdom and expertise to address pressing challenges and advocate for the protection of Indigenous Peoples’ and local communities’ territories of life.
Our National Focal Points serve as pivotal individuals operating at the national level within the ICCA Consortium. They lead national networks and working groups, facilitate transnational advocacy, and contribute to priority setting for both national and international policy engagement. With a focus on advocacy, fundraising and communication, they play a vital role in advancing our organization’s objectives on defending and protecting territories of life at local, national and global scales.
