The ICCA Consortium presents a series of webinars in three languages to offer a basic understanding of ICCAs!
This session, “ICCAs in international policy” is the third of the series: It is presented by Holly Jonas, ICCA Consortium International Policy Coordinator. First, Holly explains how we understand the concept of law from an indigenous and community perspective, then she moves to the crucial recognition of ICCAs in international conservation policy and biodiversity law, and finally she looks at their growing recognition in the international human rights system.
