Regional representative for West and Central Asia and the Caucasus
Khalid Khawaldeh is from Jordan and has been working for community customary lands for over three decades, volunteering for Dana and Qadisiyah Local Community Cooperative and other community-based organizations defending the land rights of Indigenous Peoples and local communities. Since Dana Cooperative officially joined the ICCA Consortium as a Member organization in 2010, Khalid has been its representative. He is also engaged with several networks and movements working to defend the land rights of Indigenous Peoples and local communities.
