Based in Ecuador. Rachel obtained a master’s degree in technical and literary translation and a post-graduate certificate as a conference interpreter in 2008. She has worked as a volunteer translator and interpreter for several organizations, including Emmaus International and La Via Campesina. Although languages were her first passion, she soon felt the need to complement her education with different contents, such as political science, international law and political economy. Deeply motivated by the desire to serve others, she is also trained as a therapist and is particularly committed to working with women.
