Thematic representative for youth and intergenerational relations
Based in Myanmar. Esther is an Indigenous Karen woman from the Tanintharyi Region in Southern Myanmar. She is an Honorary member of the ICCA Consortium and has worked for over ten years helping her community to document and secure their rights over their lands and biodiversity. She has also worked with Karen youth groups and has been the coordinator of CAT, a network of Karen environmental groups that advocate for Indigenous-led conservation and she is currently coordinating the All Burma Indigenous Peoples Alliance
