On the 27 – 29 March, 2012 in Tirana, Albania GEF Secretariat organized an Extended Constituency Workshop (ECW) for the constituency of the following countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, and Ukraine. GEF ECW’s aimed to keep the GEF national focal points, convention focal points and other key stakeholders, including civil society, abreast of GEF strategies, policies and procedures and to encourage coordination. Iris Beneš was present as a representative of both Croatia’s Civil Society Organizations and the Consortium, and learned about GEF investment programming and future partnership for actions.
